Dali Melting Desk Clock Gold

Salvador Dalí’s Melting Clocks are his way of systematizing confusion and thus discrediting the world of reality. Showcased by Dalí in his 1931 painting, The Persistence Of Memory, some critics believe the Melting Clock to be his interpretation of Einstein’s theory of special relativity. Dalí once claimed that his inspiration was the sight of a Camembert melting in the sun. No matter what your favorite take on this iconic surrealist motif, this one is as much an art gallery-worthy work of art as it is a functional table clock.
